City & Guilds ITQ

This for those who are following a modern apprenticeship / advanced apprenticeship in ICT. The work involved is the gathering of evidence to complete each chosen unit of study in a work based environment or work based task.
Bosco Centre offers IT City and Guilds ITQ to students at level 2 and 3. Students can choose from the following units, to complete their qualifications.

IT Security for Users	IT Communication Fundamentals
Word Processing	Using the internet
Spreadsheets	Databases
Using Email	Website Software
Presentation Software	Specialist software
Evaluating the impact of IT	General uses of IT
IT Sofware Fundamentals	Using Mobile IT Devices

Entry Requirements

Pass the test in Application of number and Communication at level 1
Length of Course: Level 2 12-15 months
Progression Route: Advanced apprenticeship in using IT which is a Level 3 Course

Employee and employers rights and responsibilities

This will be done Partly On site and party at college for one day per week
Assessors will assess your work both on site and in class, thereby helping you to attain your Apprenticeship at level 2 in using IT.
