These classes are designed to increase your knowledge and understanding of Maths related to the world we live in and work. They prepare you for key skills qualifications, level 1 (equivalent to GCSE D-F) and Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE A-C), user friendly classes, small group and 1 to 1 tuition. Work at your own rate with your own targets which are agreed with your tutor.
Allows you to confidently use number in all areas of life...from VAT to discounts, APR interest, Measurement, costings, budgeting and weekly shopping - Application of number or functional maths is offered at levels 1+2 and where appropriate level 3
Bank accounts, statements, overdrafts, credit cards and debit cards ... all part of number anad if we are confident with it, then we don't make financial mistakes !!
