The apprenticeship consists of the Diploma qualification which is a mixture of theory about the subject and practical work . This is done in the workshops usually. when this is completed you are encouraged to take up site experience and learnhow it all works there. This is the NVQ in plastering and you gain your evidence from such things as Site diaries, that you make and have signed by your line manager, photographs taken of your work and explained by yourself and signed by your manager . You will also be observed by your tutor/assessor on site. These altogether with your Key skills in Communciation and APplication of number go to make up the apprenticeship.
