Reception work

working in reception is a good way to find if you are suitable for working with the public in a helping way and if you would like to do this part of administration- the receptionist. S/he is a very important persona in any organisation and s/he is the first person any visitor meets and atherefore gives the first impression of the organisation- Is it friendly, "stuck up", homely, "posh" or theplace where I would like to be,. So you ahve a big responsibility on your hands. You need to dress appropriately, always be pleasant and helpful with a "nice smile" and be tidy.
